DUNCAN MONK Grace JUNE 23rd, 1918 - JUNE 5th, 2000 The family announces with sorrow her peaceful passing on the 5th of June, 2000 at the Timmins & District Hospital, aged 81 years of South Porcupine. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1976. Dear mother of Isabell (Mrs. Malcolm Dysart) or South Porcupine, Bonnie (Mrs. Malcom Dysart) of South Porcupine, Bonnie (Mrs. Murry Newton) and Bill (wife Gloria) Duncan both of Keswick, Ont. Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren. Dear sister of John Monk, Mrs. Hilda Ranger, Edna (Mrs. Gordon Richardson) and Mary (Mrs. Al Monk). Predeceased by a great grandson Joseph Croft, a brother Jim Monk and sisters Margaret MacDonald and Patricia Anne. Mrs. Duncan was born in Halifax, N.S. and had been a resident of the Porcupine Camp since 1923 having once been a member of the St. Joachims C.W.L. As an expression of sympathy, remembrance donations in her honour will be accepted through the funeral home to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Les Costello officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. till funeral time at 11:00 a.m. at the Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Ave., South Porcupine. (235-2900)(The Daily Press)
