LINDSAY, Stuart Alan Peacefully at the Deep River District Hospital, Tuesday, June 6, 2000. Beloved husband of Karen, predeceased by first wife, Isobel. Loving father of Cathy (Dave) Croft, Ted (Susan) and Gesse Lindsay and stepsons Tim and Jeff (Sharon) Kleinbeck. Grandfather to Dave, Carrie, Rob Croft, Meg, Erin and James Lindsay and Jennifer, Erin and Alyssa Kleinbeck. Born in Humberstone (now part of Port Colborne) Ontario, he moved to Deep River in 1954 where he worked for Atomic Energy (AECL) until his retirement. Alan will be remembered for his long time involvement with the Deep River Little League, Glider and Lawn Bowling Clubs. A memorial service will be held, Thursday, June 14 at 11 a.m. at the Deep River Community Church. Luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Deep River Lawn Bowling Club.
