LABELLE Gary Dec. 21, 1932 - June 7, 2000 Gone home to be with the Lord, Gary passed away peacefully at the Canmore Hospital on Wednesday, June 7, 2000, after a brief illness at the age of 67 years. He was emplyed by the Stoney Band as a Grader operator for many years. He was also a great cowboy and hockey player and later a very supportative parent to his family in all sports. Gary is survived by his children : Morris (Donna), Chester (Cassandra) Hubert, Roderick, Ann (Tom), Leanne (Perry), Dianne (Eldred), Belinda (Edwin), Marissa and Elyshia; twenty grandchildren and two great grandsons; a sister, Edna Simeon, and numerous nieces and nephews, a special friend, Alvin Kumlin; four brothers-in-law, Bill McLean, John Hunter, Vern Hunter (Beverley) and Desi (Jolie); three sisters-in-law, Mable and Phyllis Ear and Lydia Wesley and cousins, Joe Big Plume, Webster, Gordon (Eva), George (Sheila), Cassie, Alva, Yvonne (David), Mary, Elsie, Bertha, Debra, Annie and Fred. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends from Hobbema, Tsuu T'ina, Saskatchewan and Montana, USA. Gary was predeceased by his loving wife, Hilda; parents, Alex and Jessie; four brothers, Louie (Katie), Jacob, Daniel and Alfred; sister, Caroline and two small sisters; uncles, Tom, Scotty, Lou Sr., Johnny and Mark; aunt, Agatha Marie and cousins, Robert and Mary; nephews, Charlie, Urban, Marshall, Clifford, Harvey, Ronald, George and Eldon; nieces, Clarabelle, Barbara, Jolene and Marilyn; brothers-in-law, Charlie, Gilford and Len and in-laws, Hazel and Wallace Ear. Wake Services will be held at his residence on Sunday, June 11, 2000 and Monday, June 12, 2000. Funeral Services will be held at Morley United Church, Morley, AB on Tuesday, June 13, 2000 at 1 :30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery.
