THOM, Fred J. Passed away at eighty-four years of age on June 11, 2000 in Montreal. Mourned and greatly missed by Josephine Thom; Preston, Arlene, Jason and Christina Thom; Fred Thom Jr.; Janie, John, Jennifer and Michael Houghton; Nancy Thom, Lars, Jessica, Erik, Elizabeth Nordgren; Chappie Thom, Bunty Loucks; Pat Locke. Predeceased by brother John. A memorial service will be held at the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club, 44 Price St., Toronto on Wednesday, June 14 at 3:30 p.m. In respect of Fred's love of the wilderness, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friends of Algonquin, Box 248, Whitney, Ontario, K0J 2M0.
