DUPUIS, Phydime (Phil) In his 80th year, formerly from Levack, passed away Monday, June 12th, 2000 following major heart surgery in Quebec City. Will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years Yvette (Tremblay), children; Gabrielle (Derrell Dominic), Simone (Robert Brophy), Lorraine, John (Karry Taylor), Richard (Lena Boissonneault), Darren (Nathalie Dunn) and Nicole (Claudio Ferro). Dear grandpapa of John-David, Patrick, Natalie, Kristopher, John-Thomas, Curtis, Emilie, Jason and Jeremy. Loving Pépé to Nathan and Janet-Leigh. Survived by brothers and sisters John, Anthyme, Fernande, Ramona and Lina and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Charles-Phydime and granddaughter Catherine-Anne Dominic. He leaves behind beautiful memories and a family who will remember him always. Phydime was an active member of Levack Onaping Elks until his retirement, Holy Name Society, Catholic Family Movement, and also an avid curler. Born in Pabos Quebec, Phydime and Yvette moved to Levack and raised their family until his retirement in 1974 after 25 years working at INCO. They returned to Pabos where they enjoyed 25 years of retirement together. Interment in Pabos, Quebec on June 15th, 2000. In memorian donations may be made to the St. Bartholomew's Church Building Fund in Levack. (The Sudbury Star)
