MASSE, Albert-Wilfred Passed away after a lengthy illness at his residence in Whitby on Monday, June 12, 2000 in his 85th year. Following his service overseas with the Canadian Armed Forces, Algonquin Regiment and subsequent recovery from battle wounds during WWII, Albert was married for 42 years to the late Jeanne Louise Masse (nee Durkee 1924-1988). Caring Father of six children, Jeanne Ellen, Louise, Francine, Audrey Anne, Allan and Raymond and will be remembered by his ten grandchildren, Jason, Sean, Allison, Carson, Leslie Anne, Simon, Justin, Nicholas, Brandon and Melissa. Son of the late Adelard Masse and Elmire Rousseau, survived by his eight sisters, Beatrice, Rosie, Marion, Lea, Maria, Cecile, Josephine and Ida. Family will receive friends and relatives at a Memorial Reception to celebrate Albert's life on Thursday, June 15, 2000, 4 to 7 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 322, 111 Hunt Street, Ajax, L1S S1P.
