LAST Henry-James The family announces with sorrow his unexpected passing on Friday, June 16th, 2000, at Timmins & District Hospital, aged 69 years of Hoyle. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Mason) and dear father of Derrick (Bonnie) of Timmins, Rodney (Kari-Anne) of Porcupine, Kimberley Last of Porcupine, Pamela (Mrs. David Moreau) of South Porcupine and Corrine Last at home. Dear grandfather of Kaitlyn, Joshua, Robert, Megan, Kelsey, Bobby and Gared. Dear brother of Mrs. Mary Montrose of South Porcupine. Henry was predeceased by his son Robert and his daughter Nancy. Mr. Last was a lifetime resident of the Porcupine Camp. He worked at McChesney Lumber, Algoma Davis, Mannyx, Johns Mansville and retired from Kidd Creek with 20 years of service in 1989. Henry dearly loved the freedom of the Great Outdoors. As an act of remembrance in his honor, a donation to the Ontario Heart and Stroke fund, Diabetes Foundation or the Timmins & District Hospital will be gratefully received through the funeral home. A Funeral Mass to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joachims Church, South Porcupine, with Fr. Dan Sedlar officiating. Interment to follow in Tisdale Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Ave., South Porcupine (235-2900). (The Daily Press)
