SURETTE Henry (HANK) Nelson. On June 22, 2000, at the age of 63, Hank passed away after a succession of complications due to his ongoing dementia. He leaves behind his loving wife Sylvia (Rutka), his son Allan (Monica), his daughter Michelle and his new grandson Eric. Also his mother Cecilia, brother Paul, sisters Theresa Dous, and Rita Lukaniuk (Joe). His many nieces and nephews and friends throughout the world. Hank, a retired engineer of 40 years with Canadian Airlines International, worked in Fort St. John, Leduc, and finally Vancouver and such world bases as Frankfurt, London, Lima, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Amsterdam and Mexico. He divided his time between his love of Airplanes and love of family and friends. To all of us he brought laughter, love and loyalty. He will be greatly missed. A memorial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on July 22, 2000 at the Steveston Community Centre, 4111 Moncton Street, Richmond, B.C. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the WBA Scholarship fund, the AUUC, or the charity of your choice, would be greatly appreciated.(The Vancouver Sun)
