JACOBS, Mel (Tekarihoken). 1937 - 2000. Suddenly in Kahnawake on June 23, 2000 at the age of sixty-two years. Passed away Mr. Mel Tekarihoken Jacobs, beloved husband of Denise Stacey, and dear father of: Trudy (Peter), Michelle (Peter), Valerie (Mark), Carolyn (John), Joanne and Lindsay. Also survived by eight grandchildren: Jessica, Mark, Sheyenne, Steven, Brandon, Elijah, Olivia and Automn, his sister Evelyn (Earl), many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brother Ernie and his grandson Adam. Resting at his home in Kahnawake. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 27 at 2 p.m. in St-Francis-Xavier Mission. Interment on the Mohawk Trail Kahnawake. Funeral direction by Poissant & Deer Funeral Home.
