KEMPSON, Shirley (nee Holden). Of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Centre on June 25, 2000 at the age of seventy-two years. Shirley's greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She will always be remembered for her warmth, kindness and sense of humour. The love she had for life will remain in the hearts of all those who knew her. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by John, her husband of fifty years and their daughters, Sandra (Rick) Hand, and Bev (Pat) Romerman, and grandchildren Tyler and Christie Hand, Brittany and Katelyn Szlater, and Curtis, Scott and Stacy Romerman. Shirley was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Szlater, her brothers George and Gerald Holden, and her parents Rose and George Holden.
