Clara Cardinal On Wednesday, June 28, 2000 Mrs. Clara Cardinal of Elizabeth Settlement passed away at the age of 79 years. Clara will be sadly missed by her children Theresa (George) Cross of Frog Lake, Lydia (Willard) Cardinal of Elizabeth, Richard (Bernadette) Cardinal of Elizabeth, Charles Cardinal of Elizabeth, Roland Cardinal of Elizabeth, Glen (Mary) Cardinal of Elizabeth, Randy (Wendy) Cardinal of Elizabeth, and Kalvin Cardinal fo Elizabeth, step-children Alex Cardial of Elizabeth, marie Swan of Elizabeth, Agnes Cardinal of Edmonton, and Maggie Badger of Kehewin, sister and brothers Martha (Jobby) Metchewais of Legoff, Jerome Watchmaker of Kehewin, Ernest (Cecilia) Watchmaker of Kehewin, and Thomas (Linda) Watchmaker of Kehewin, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Clara was predeceased by her husband James Cardinal, sons Gordon and Rene, daughter Nellie, parents Angelic and Simon Watchmaker, sisters Mary, Alice and Frieda, and 2 brothers. Pallbearers were Kevin Cardinal, Keith Desjarlais, Colin Badger, Conrad Gadwa, Claytn Gadwa, and Crai Cross. Prayers were held Thursday, and Friday, June 29 & 30, 2000 at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church in Kehewin. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, July Roman Catholic Church in Kehewin. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, July 1, 2000 @ 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church with Reverend Roger Guerin officiating. Interment followed at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Kehewin. Northern Lights Funeral Chapel of Bonnyville and Cold Lake along with Funeral Director Kelly Turzanski were in trust of funeral arrangements. 826-6083, 594-6083(The Cold Lake Sun)
