MACHIN, Mary. Beloved daughter of Minnie and Patrick, sister of Ken, wife fo Sam and mother of Pat. She was a musician and teacher who lived her life passionately for eighty-eight years "outside the shadow of death." A musical celebration of her life will be held at Valois United Church in the fall. Donations in her memory may be made to Lindsay Place High School Music Fund (111 Broadview Avenue, Pointe Claire, Quebec, H9R 3Z3) to establish an annual "Miss Mary" award for a promising music talent. A special thanks to Cora Barney and John and staff who made it possible for those who loved her to keep dancing with Mary to the music of life.
