HENDRICK, Verna Passed away peacefully at St. Patrick's Home on Saturday July 1, 2000 at the age of 93. Mary Verna Joynt Hendrick, beloved wife for 61 years of the late Patrick Hendrick Sr. of Chelsea, Quebec. Loving mother of Laurence (Bernie), Maureen (Maurice Labelle), the late Helen and her late husband (Jack Collins), Elizabeth (Betty) (Ben Turpin), Patrick (Margaret) and Ann (Georges Lecavalier). Cherished grandmother to 19 grandchildren and 35 loving great-grandchildren. Mother leaves us with special memories of her great love, strength, courage and quiet dignity. Friends may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church, Old Chelsea, Quebec. Burial at St. Camillus Cemetery, Farrellton, Quebec. Special thanks to the staff at St. Patrick's Home.
