NARSTED, Harold. Passed away peacefully in Sechelt, B.C. on July 1, 2000 in his eightieth year with his wife Kay by his side. Harold was formerly from Beaconsfield, Quebec where he resided for twenty-eight years while working for Canada Cement Lafarge. Harold and his wife Kay celebrated fifty-eight years of marriage and raised six children; Mary-Dianne (Ken) Astrof, the late Bruce, Catherine (Brannan), Jill (Duart) Campbell, Jack (Leona) and Nancy (Mike) Hannah. In his retirement he enjoyed his nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. His life was embraced by the love of his wife, family and his passion for great music and literature. He will be sadly missed and cherished memories will live forever in our hearts. We love you. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary's hospital in Sechelt, B.C. would be kindly appreciated. Funeral services were held on July 5, 2000 followed by a Final Farewell on board the Alibi Wahoo.
