SMITH, Theodore (Ted) 81 years on July 2, 2000. Late of Tecumseh. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Cloutier). Loving father of Kathryn and husband Mike Berthiaume of Tecumseh. Son of the late Edward and Alice (Barrette). Dear "pip" of Brad and wife Carly, Todd and wife Laurie, Karrie and husband Jim Stuart and "great pip" of Maddie; Jacob and Makayla; and Dominique. Ted was retired from Bendix after 39 years of service, was a past member of the St. Anne High School Board, a former Scout Leader and member of the Tecumseh Community Centre Board. Visiting Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Wednesday at 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 6 at 12 p.m. from the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830) to St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. Interment St. Anne Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy a donation to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Ted Smith, in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady Memorial Forest. A dedication service will be held October 1, 2000.(The Windsor Star)
