GAOUETTE Fleurette , 55 Cedar, Apr. 101, Kapuskasing, died at Ottawa General Hospital on July 3, 2000. She was 64 years old. Mrs. Gaouette was born Nov. 2, 1935 in Val Gagne. She worked as a clerk at the Kap Inn. She enjoyed gardening and making crafts. Mrs. Gaouette was predeceased by her parents Dorina Desjardins and Ernest Genest and sister Jeanne-D'arc Genest. She is survived by sons Denis (Katie) and Martin of Calgary and Daniel (Lorraine) and Richard (Wanda), both of Kap. Also surviving are daughter Nicole (Ken) Mason of Westminster, BC, sister Cécile Desheneau of Gatineau, Quebec and brother Laurier (Laurette) Genest of Orleans. Mrs. Gaouette had six grandchildren and one great grandchild. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation took place in Ottawa. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral director was the Genier Gauthier Funeral Home. (Northern Times Kapuskasing)
