HOWARD, Gilbert. In Montreal, on July 5, 2000, at the age of seventy-nine years. Mr. Gilbert Howard, husband of Georgette Bessette Howard and cherished son of the late Aaron Howard and the late Catherine Elizabeth Thomas Howard. He is survived by his children: Monique Howard Lewter (Calvin), Diane Howard, Winston Howard (Leslie), Carmen Howard Ingalls (Kenneth) and Suzanne Howard. Predeceased by children Claude and Steve Howard. He will be missed by six grandchildren, brothers Hugh Howard (Juliette), Allan Howard and Samuel B. Howard (Erlene), sisters Agnes Howard and Frances Howard, as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Resting at Alfred Dallaire Funeral Home, 5805 Boileau Street, Montreal, Quebec. Visitation from July 8 to July 11, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. each day. Local service held on July 11 at 8 p.m. Interment will be in his homeland of Trinidad And Tobago. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke, Diabetes or Kidney Foundations would be greatly appreciated by the family.
