MANTYSAARI, Émérance (née Belanger) The family announces with sorrow her death, Friday, July 7th, 2000, at the Sudbury Regional Hospital (St. Joseph's Health Centre), at the age of 69 years. Daughter of the late Oscar Bélanger and of the late Délisca Bélanger (née Pilon). Beloved wife of Harvey Mantysaari of Azilda. Loving mother of Linda Larocque (husband Don), Joyce Kirkwood (husband Jim), Gary (wife Louise) and Gail Kajdas (husband Michael) all of Azilda. Dear sister of Veronica Paquette (husband Joseph, predeceased), Jeannine Mantysaari (husband Arne), Jean-Paul Bélanger (wife Espérance), Contrand Bélanger (wife Thérèse) and Constance Mantysaari-Adams (husband Alden and husband Wayne, both predeceased) all of Azilda. Predeceased by her sisters Laurette Leroux, Azilda Meilleur and by her brothers Champlain, Romain (wife Lauraize Bélanger of Azilda), Don (wife Patricia Bélanger of Sudbury), Sylvio (wife Thérèse Bélanger of Sudbury) and Montcalm (wife Helen Bélanger) of Azilda. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jamie, Jana, Sarah, Dana and Trevor. Mrs. Mantysaari was an avid bingo player. She was a member of the "Club d'accueil d'âge d'or" of Azilda. Émérance was a very good cook. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Sunday from 2-5 pm and 7-9:30 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held July 10th, 2000, at 11:00 am. in Ste. Agnés Church, Azilda. Donations to the Sudbury Regional Hospital- Equipment Fund would be appreciated. (The Sudbury Star)
