GARBUTT Adrienne, Sister, (Blanche Josephine) entered into Eternal Life on Friday, July 7, 2000 in the Infirmary of the Ursuline Motherhouse, Chatham, Ontario. Born in Jeannette's Creek 84 years ago, she was the daughter of the late Roy Edgar Garbutt and Blanche Quenneville. She was in the 65th year of her life as an Ursuline Religious of the Diocese of London. She spent her active life as a homemaker in Woodslee, Dublin, Mount Carmel, Parkhill, Bradford, Wallaceburg, Stratford, Stoney Point and Windsor. She retired to "The Pines" in 1970. She is survived by her half-sisters and brothers: Fred (& Anne) of Jeannette's Creek, Ida Mae (Scott) (late James Rowsom) of Comber, John of Tilbury Park Lodge, and Madge (Charles Wilson) of Vineland, Ont. She is also survived by a half-uncle Alphonse Quenneville (Windsor), many nieces and nephews, cousins and half-cousins. She was predeceased by her uncle Alfred Quenneville (1965), her brother George (1985), her step-mother Ida Elizabeth (1988), her half-sister Nellie Jubenville (Garbutt) (1999) and husband, her half-uncles and aunts (Quennevilles) whom she grew up with: Charles (1951), Clement (1976), Edmond (1977), Rosaire (1983), Marie-Louise (1985), Marguerite (1990), George (1998), Germaine "Gerri" Marentette (1999). Visitation will take place after 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2000 at "The Pines" in Chatham. Relatives and friends are invited to join the Ursuline Community in an evening prayer service at 7:30 p.m. in the Holy Family Chapel. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, July 10, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. in Holy Family Chapel, 64 Ursuline Avenue, Chatham. Interment will take place in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
