Conrad CYR

CYR, Conrad The family announces with sorrow his death, Saturday, July 8th, 2000 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital (St. Joseph's Health Centre), at the age of 72 years. Son of the late Paul Cyr and of the late Clauda Cyr (née St-Jarre). Beloved husband of Mathilda Cyr (née Léger) of Val Caron. Cherished grandfather of Sheena, Jamie and Chanel. Dear brother of Yvette Soucy (husband Claude), Rinette Bossé (husband Louis), Gisele Plourde, Odette Sirois, Claire Coughlin, Fernand Cyr (wife Julie), Guy Cyr, Luc Cyr (wife Chet) all of Hartford, Connecticut and Weeda Cyr of Baker Brook, New Brunswick. Predeceased by his brother Yvon (wife Gladys of Baker Brook, New Brunswick). Conrad retired from INCO in 1983 after 30 years of service. He also drove school buses for 10 years. Mr. Cyr enjoyed camping and travelling with his wife and family. He also had an interest for antique cars. Conrad will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd East., (at Notre Dame), Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held Thursday July 13th, 2000, at 10:00 a.m. in the Bishop Roger Despatie Chapel of the Co-Operative Funeral Home, Sudbury.
