TREMBLAY, Heracleus long time resident of Falher passed away on July 10, 2000 in Sacred Heart Hospital, McLennan at the age of 83. Heracleus was born on February 17, 1917 at Chicoutimi, Quebec. Heracleus arrived to the Falher district in 1947 where he was a farmer and a finishing carpenter, he retired in 1975. Heracleus was a member of A.C.F.A. and mostly did finishing carpentry in his retirement as well as fishing and traveling. Heracleus was predeceased by his wife, Simonne in 1994, grandson Brian in 1998, and son Alphee July 1, 2000. Heracleus is survived by his daughter, Lise (Willie) Webster of Pouce Coupe, B.C., 4 brothers, Maurice (Juliette) of Marie Reine, Albani (Francoise) of Falher, Pierre-Eugene (Lucie) of Quebec, Louis Joseph of Philippines, 6 sisters. Mariette (Adrien) Tremblay of Marie Reine, Gizele (Gerard) Pedneault of Donnelly, Rose-Aline (Yvan) Emond of Donnelly, 3 sisters in Quebec, granddaughter Lynn Hebert of Tappen, B.C., 2 grandsons, Jacques (Jake) Hebert of Falkland, B.C., Bradley Tremblay of MacKenzie, B.C., daughter-in-law, Lyse Tremblay of MacKenzie, B.C., nephews and nieces in Alberta, B.C., and Quebec, also in-laws, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services for the late Heracleus were held July 15, 2000 at 10:30 am from the Ste. Anne's, Falher with Reverend Robert Lesmerises officiating. Organist and soloist was Ginette Aubin. Active Pallbearers: Jacques Hebert, Bradley Tremblay, Jean-Pierre Tremblay, Serge Pedneault, Norman Tremblay, and Gratien Pedneault. Interment followed at the Ste. Anne's Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Chapel of Memories Peace River Ltd.(The Peace River Record-Gazette)
