KING Wallace 1934-2000 The family announces with sorrow his death after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the Timmins and District Hospital on Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband of Denise (nee St-Onge). Dear father of Robert King (Jennifer) of Concepcion, Chile, Susan Fera (William A.) of Timmins and Michael King (Lynn) of Timmins. Loving grandfather of Robin, Patrick Devon, Amy, Brendon and Jamy. Dear brother of Theresa Murphy (Tom) of Guelph and Cecil King (Mary) of Durham. He was predeceased by his brother Morris King in 1979 and by his brother-in-law Robert St-Onge and sister-in-law Therese St-Onge. Wallace was born in Timmins on January 9, 1934, and has lived here all his life. He worked at the Hollinger Mine for 25 years until the Mine closed. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from Notre Dame de Lourdes Church. Interment at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.(The Daily Press)
