ARMSTRONG, Edward "Unc". Peacefully at the Argenteuil Hospital, Lachute, Quebec, on Thursday, July 13, 2000 in his eighty-sixth year. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Gordon Armstrong. Survived by his sister-in-law Lena Gordon and his nieces and nephews. Funeral service Monday, July 17, 2000 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the J.P. MacKimmie Funeral Home, 660 Main Street, Lachute, Quebec. Visitation Sunday, July 16 from 4 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
