GUERARD, Alfred The family announces with sorrow his death, Thursday, July 13th, 2000, at the Extendicare York, Sudbury, at the age of 89 years. Husband of the late Dora Guerard (née Roy). Loving father of Rita Fowler (husband Jim) of Chelmsford. Dear brother of Lucien, Jean-Marie, Blanche, Marguerite, and Jeanne all of Québec. Brother in law of Gemma of Québec, Helen and Leonard Roy of Kapuskasing. Cherished grandfather of Nancy von Roenn (husband David) of Sault Ste Marie, Shane and Lillian both of Chelmsford. Dear uncle of Ron and Jane Roy of Thunder Bay and Florence Boutin of Sudbury. Mr. Guerard retired from Algoma Central after 25 years of service. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, July 17th, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Chelmsford. Donations to Epilepsy Sudbury would be appreciated. (The Sudbury Star)
