LAFOND, Jean-Paul The family announces with sorrow his death, Thursday, July 13th, 2000, at the Sudbury Regional Hospital (Laurentian Site), at the age of 74 years. Son of the late Donat Lafond and of the late Bernadette Lafond (née Chrétien). Beloved husband of Églantine "Gladys" St. Jean (née Cyr) of Alban. Loving step-father of Ronald St. Jean (wife Mona) of Sudbury and Madeleine Seawright of Copper Cliff. Dear brother of Roger Lafond (wife Thérèse), Thérèse Lafond both of Field, Antonio Lafond (wife Léonie) of North Bay, Camille Lafond (wife Audette) of Laval, PQ and Marcelle Lafond of St. Laurent, PQ. Predeceased by one brother Albert and by one sister Suzanne (husband Ronald Lacroix of Ottawa). Cherished grandfather to Mark, Denis and Michel. Mr. Lafond was retired from INCO. The family will receive friends at the NOTRE DAME DE LOURDES CHURCH, Alban, Saturday, July 22nd, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. A memorial mass will be held Saturday, July 22nd, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. in Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, Alban. Donations to the Diabetes Education and Care Program would be appreciated.
