Ernest W. BROWN

BROWN, Ernest W. Passed away at Riverside Versa Care after a lengthy illness, with grace and dignity. Born July 25, 1920, passed away July 14, 2000. Beloved husband of 56 years to Florence (Letty Mahony). Dearest father to Ellen and John Flajnik, Ernest Todd Brown and friend Cheryl, and the late Ferne (1950). Dearest grandfather of Beth and Andy Kickham and Sharon and Kelly Clapp. Great grandfather to Taylor Clapp and Maddie Kickham. Predeceased by brothers Verral, Mervin and sister Geraldine. Dear brother-in-law to Beth and Dan Mahony and Fern MacMichael, and as a "Poppa" to Michelle, Jacquie and Lisa. Ernest served overseas in W.W. II with the R.C.A.F., was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #255, a Ford retiree Local 200 and a #1 Blue Jays fan. Visiting at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home, 1969 Wyandotte St. E. (at Devonshire Rd.) on Saturday from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. A Private Family Service will be held. Donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.(The Windsor Star)
