Des ROCHERS, Sister Gilberte (Sister Helen of the Sacred Heart) Sister Gilberte Des Rochers, Grey Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, at Shalom Residence, Pembroke, Ontario, on July 14th 2000, in the 73rd year of her religious life. Dear daughter of the late Romeo Des Rochers and Corinne Chapman. She is survived by her sister, Lucille Henault, her sister-in-law, Edna Des Rochers (Gaunt), Pembroke, and many nieces and nephews. Sister spent most of her life teaching in Pembroke, Ottawa, Timmins, Vancouver and Eganville. In retirement she provided many services to others in Ottawa and Pembroke. Resting at the Grey Sisters' Motherhouse, 700 MacKay Street, Pembroke from 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 16th until the Resurrection Liturgy in the Motherhouse Chapel on Monday, July 17th, at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Columba's Cemetery. Members of the Catholic Women's League will meet for prayer at the Motherhouse on Sunday, July 16th at 4:00 p.m. Friends, Associates and former students are invited to evening prayer at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 16th in the Motherhouse Chapel.
