STOCKWELL, Ruth Emily (nee Mead). Peacefully at October House Residence in Pointe-Claire early on Saturday morning, July 15, 2000, four days short of her eighty-eighth birthday. Beloved wife of the late Ivan Stockwell, and dear mother to David (Susan) of Chelsea and Bill (Liliane) of Pointe-Claire, Quebec. Predeceased by her daughter Peggy. Will be sorely missed by grandchildren Jill Daly of Modesto, California; April Daly-Mollard (John) of Weehawken, New Jersey; Nara, Ken, Alexandra, Christian and Victoria. Remembered fondly as a devoted grade 5 teacher at Cedar Park School. In lieu of flowers, donations to the W.I. Educational Foundation, 257 Beaconsfield Blvd., Beaconsfield H9W 4A5 would be appreciated. The family is most grateful to the staff at the Griffith-McConnell and the October House Residences for the attentive care given to Ruth since her return from Sidney, British Colulmbia last summer. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 2, 11 a.m. at Cedar Park United Church, 204 Lakeview in Pointe-Claire.
