RUITER, Homer. Peacefully at Ste. Anne's Military Hospital on Monday, July 17, 2000, age eighty-eight years. Beloved husband of Eleanor. Dear father of Ted (Vicki), Heather (Austin), Lynn (George), the late Chris (Joe) and Phillip (Cindy). Loving grandfather of Ashley, Stephine (Todd), Chris (Janet), Emily, Angela, Daniel, Jennifer, Maggie, Wesley and James, two step-grandsons; also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held from the Chapel of Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, 307 Riverside Drive (at Argyle), St. Lambert on Saturday, July 22 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Shriners Hospital.
