DEGAGNE, Virginia Louise (Matte) In loving memory of Virginia Louise (Matte) Degagne, 67 years, who passed away Thursday morning, July 20th, 2000, at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Centre. Born in Copper Cliff, she married Claude in Kenora, in 1956. She graduated as a Registered Nurse and many years ago, worked at St. Joseph's Hospital. She enjoyed reading and knitting. Virginia was a kind and caring person, compassionate to those in need and always shared her love of people. Beloved wife of Claude Degagne of Sudbury. Loving mother of Ron (wife Angela) and Michael (fiancee Jody) both of Sudbury, and Paul (wife Elizabeth) of Timmins. Dear grandmother of Christopher. Dear godmother of Gina. Dear daughter of the late Frank and Almina Matte, both predeceased. Dear sister of Ron (wife Joan) of Sudbury, Fred (wife Pat) of Scotland, Barbara of Copper Cliff and the late Frances (predeceased). Dear cousin of Joe Retty of Sudbury. Dear aunt of Paula, David, Robert, Lisa, Jeff, Debra and Chris. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St.. Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Church, Saturday, July 22nd, 2000 at 11AM. Cremation in the Parklawn Crematorium.
