Alma Eleanor GABRIEL

GABRIEL, Alma Eleanor On Monday, July 24, 2000 Alma Eleanor Gabriel of Cold Lake North passed away at the age of 52 years. Alma will be sadly missed by her two children Tina (Calvin) Gabriel of Fort McMurray, and Tim Willder of North Bay, Ontario, her six grandchildren; Davalynn Whitstone, Blaire Whitstone, Letitia Whitstone, Brittany Hutchings, Lisa Willder, and Samantha Willder, her sister Noella Amable, special parents, Madeline and Francis Scanie, her special friend, Ron McMillan and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Alma was predeceased by her parents Rosalie and Stephan Amable, brothers, Leonard and Richard Amable and sister, Celina Amable. Prayer services were held July 27 & 28 at the Spiritual Centre at Cold Lake First Nations. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, July 29, 2000 @ 11:00 am at St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations with Reverend David Bernard officiating. Interment followed at St. Raphael Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were; Mathilda Blackman, Edie Clark, Bridget Machatis, Alphonse Amable, Kelly Scanie, Derek James and Harold Gabriel. Pallbearers were; Tim Willder, Wayne Amable, Richard Amable, Richard Cardinal, Kevin Scanie, and Calvin Hutchings.
