CHAUVIN, Stella Dorothy (Kuzniak) Born on January 26, 1936 and went to be with her Lord and Saviour on July 25, 2000 at Windsor Regional Hospital Met Campus at the age of 64. Survived by her husband Edward J. Chauvin. Loving mother of Christopher and wife Elaine Chauvin, Catherine Chauvin, William and wife Angela Chauvin, Caroline and husband William Jason Glenn. Dear grandmother of Garrison, Chantel, Adam, Tanya, Jessica, Steven, Raelle and Summerlea. Predeceased by her parents Josaphine and John Kuzniak. Special daughter of Dorothy Vollans and dear friend of Sheila and Rick Rivait. Sister to John Kuzniak Jr., Norman, Virginia and Ted. Stella was a devoted Catholic and a dedicated volunteer for the Legion of Mary at St. Clare Parish and St. Alphonsus Parish. She also volunteered her time to visit the sick at their homes and at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Visiting Thursday 3-5 and 7-9p.m. Prayers Thursday 7p.m. Funeral Friday July 28, 2000 from Janisse Brothers Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave. (253-5225) at 8:45a.m. then to St. Alphonsus Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30a.m. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Stella Chauvin in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady Memorial Forest.
