Mary Hislop TAYLOR

THOM, Mary Hislop (nee Taylor). Peacefully in Ottawa on Wednesday, July 26, 2000 at age ninety-one, Mary Hislop Thom (nee Taylor), an active, independent, caring woman with a love for family, friends and gardening. Predeceased by her husband John Norman Thom. Loving mother of Anne Dobson (Craig) of Edmonton, Alberta and Andrew (Jennifer) of Manotick. Mary will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren Caleigh, Brock and Adrian. Fondly remembered by nieces Fiona, Margaret and Philippa and families in England. Friends may call at the Rideau Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home, 1610 Roger Stevens Drive, Kars (East of Highway 416), on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in Knox Presbyterian Church, 5533 Dickinson St., Manotick on Monday, at 1 p.m. Cremation. In memory of Mary, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
