BRUNET, Nina Bernice. Surrounded by her loving family, Mrs. Nina Bernice (Hanselpacker) Brunet, wife of the late Gilles G. Brunet, passed away on July 27, 2000 at the Fundy Health Center, Blacks Harbour, N.B. after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 17, 1934 in St. George, N.B., she was a daughter of the late William and Medvina (Patterson) Hanselpacker. She is survived by her two sisters; Avis Vance of St. George, N.B. and Joyce, Mrs. Alwyn Lane of Etobicoke, Ont.; sister-in-law Mrs. Lydia Hanselpacker of St. George, N.B., several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother Merven, three sisters, Mildred and Hazel Hanselpacker and Vera Smith and one nephew Derek Smith. Nina loved life - her friends and family, travelling, and eating and drinking well. She taught us to care for life's small details and left us all with a story to tell. There will be no visitation by Nina's request. Service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. from the St. George United Baptist Church. Graveside service and interment will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. (E.S.T), in Rideau Memorial Gardens, Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec. In her memory, remembrances to a charity of the donors choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, N.B., (506-755-3533) and the Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard des Ormeaux, Que. (514) 685-3344.
