MACUMBER, Arthur-Leslie. 1909-2000. On July 27, 2000 at the Ste. Anne Veterans Hospital, passed away Mr. Arthur L. Macumber in his ninety-first year. Born in Providence, Rhodes Island, USA, but a lifelong resident of Canada. Beloved husband of Irene, dearly loved father of Beverley (John Lapare) and David (Jocelyn McPhail). He is also survived by granddaughters; Laurel, Stephanie, Roxanne and Apryl, grandsons; Sean and Lance. Also left to mourn seven great-grandchildren and brother; Howard. Arthur served with the R.C.A.F. from 1940-1945. He was a teacher and a member of the department of new building with the P.S.B.G.M. and a mason with the Meridian Lodge No. 125. Visitation will be held at the Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Boul. des Sources, D.D.O. (Telephone 685-3344) on Sunday, July 30, 2000 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial service will be held at the Lakeside Heights Baptist Church, 275 Braebrook, Pointe-Claire on Monday, July 31, 2000 at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
