DOLAN, Gerald J. (Gerry). Passed away peacefully at Lakeshore General Hospital on Friday, July 28, 2000 at the age of eighty-six. Will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend Mary Zizian of forty-seven years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Art Dolan of Toronto, Norma and Jim Stirling of Pointe-Claire, Tom and Anita Dolan of Los Angeles and Tim and Janet Dolan of Toronto. Loving grandfather to Patrick Dolan, James, Kevin and Shawn Stirling, Shannon and Adam Dolan and Michael and Mark Dolan. Also survived by brothers William (Brother Adrian of the Christian Brothers), Alec and sister Rita Fox. Former President of British Footwear Co., interim President of LaSalle Shoe Co. and Consultant for Genfoot Co. Will be remembered for his ardent community work in St. Veronica's Parish as well as in Education and the Dorval Library. Donations may be made to The Old Brewery Mission or the Lakeshore General Hospital. Resting at the Lakeshore Cardinal Inc. Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval. Funeral service at St. Veronica's Church, 1300 Carson, Dorval on Tuesday, August 1 at 11 a.m. Visitation Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
