MAINVILLE, Gertrude (née Martin) The family announces with sorrow her death, Friday, July 28th, 2000, at the Sudbury Regional Hospital (St. Joseph's Health Centre), at the age of 77 years. Daughter of the late Émile Martin and of the late Alda Martin (née Frappier). Wife of the late Hervé Mainville, predeceased in 1994. Loving mother of Émilienne Pilon (husband Émile), Édith Flesch (husband Andy), Gérald (wife Madeline), Germain, Jacqueline (Georges Matte), Denis (Pat Whitehead), Patricia Lefebvre (husband Aimé), Richard (wife Tammy) and Linda (Dan Mayer) all of Chelmsford. Dear sister of Albertine St. Jean (husband René, predeceased), Léo Martin (wife Edna), Marthe Desormeaux (husband Hervé, predeceased), Lily Frappier (husband Raymond) all of Sudbury and Thérèse Proulx (husband Germain, predeceased) of London. Predeceased by sisters Cécile Obumsawin (husband Léo, predeceased), Edna Brosseau (husband Albert, predeceased) and by one brother Désiré (wife Ida Martin of Sudbury). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 26 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Mrs. Mainville was a devoted mother and grandmother. Gertrude loved to be near her family. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, July 31st, 2000 at 11:00 a.m., in St. Joseph Church, Chelmsford.
