McDERMOTT, William B. (Bill) At Marianhill Palliative Care, Pembroke, on Friday morning, July 28, 2000, in his 71st year. Bill McDermott of Cecilia Street, Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Rhea McDermott (nee Giroux). Dear father of Michael McDermott (Sally) of Kelowna, B.C., Steven McDermott (Catherine Foran) of Aylmer, QC., Patrick McDermott of Vancouver, B.C., and Craig McDermott of Aylmer, QC. Loving grandfather of Zoe, Jordan, Tynan, and Adam McDermott, Kyle and Kelsey McDermott. Dear brother of Lorraine Rotterman of Mississauga, Ontario and the late June Munro of Toronto. Son of the late William McDermott and the late Myrtle McCarthy (nee Bradford). Son-in-law of Edna Giroux of Pembroke, and the late Leo and Albina (nee Pelletier) Giroux. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Bill's request was for donation of his body to Queen's University, Medical Science.
