FARMUS, Anna (nee Baszlak). (1929-2000). Passed away in the Montreal General Hospital on July 29, 2000. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Myron, and leaves to mourn her daughter Olga (with husband Eduard Hecker and children Laryssa and Steven) of Edmonton, her daughter Mary, of Montreal, as well as numerous members of her extended family in Canada, the United States and Ukraine. Resting at Alfred Dallaire Inc., 3254 Bellechasse Street (corner of St. Michel Boulevard). Viewing is on Monday, July 31, and Tuesday, August 1 from 2 to 10 p.m. Panachyda is on Monday and Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. The funeral service will be at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 6175 - 10th Avenue (corner of Bellechasse) on Wednesday, August 2 at 10 a.m. Internment will follow at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made in her memory to SUM (The Ukrainian Youth Association), 3260 Beaubien St. East, Montreal, QC, H1X 3C9 or to the Ukrainian Catholic Parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 6175 - 10th Avenue, Montreal, Quebec, H1Y 2H5.
