HOOPER, Ted S.W. Died peacefully on July 29, 2000 in Sanibel, Florida after a long illness. Born in Montreal on October 12, 1925, he was the much loved father of Tony, Ted, Michele and Jane and grandfather of David, Carol, Amy, Christopher, Jason, Lindsay and Thomas. From 1943 to 1945 Mr. Hooper served in the Royal Canadian Navy on North Atlantic convoy escort duty. Following the war he began a career in the paper industry, which included the founding of the company that bore his name for over thirty-five years. He was awarded the Centennial Medal in 1967 for his services in the development and promotion of education. He will be sorely missed by his many friends. Donations may be made to the Ft.
