ASHICK, Esther Alice (Gould) In loving memory of Esther Alice (Gould) Ashick, 71 years, who passed away Tuesday morning, August 1st, 2000, at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Centre. Born in Petawawa, she married Ray, whom she loved absolutely and devoted her life to, in 1946, in Sudbury. She enjoyed playing cards, dice, and going to the casino. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed, but always remembered for her caring and love. Beloved and devoted wife of Ray Ashick of Sudbury. Loving mother of Bryan (wife Norma), Linda (husband Lloyd Crigger) and Sharon, all of Sudbury and Debra (husband Gilbert Root) of Elliot Lake. Loving grandmother of Tammi (husband Trevor Deck), Kim (husband Sean Murray), Neil, Keith, Scott (fiancee Lori), Jessica, Adam, and Eric. Dear great grandmother of Joel, Alexandra, Alyssa and Emily. Dear daughter of the late Wilford and Mary Gould, both predeceased. Dear sister of Dorothy Doman (husband Walter, predeceased) and Lloyd both of Sudbury, Garnet (wife Violet) of Hanmer, Erla Coppo (husband Aldo) of Coniston, Shirley Maves (husband Gerald) of Pembroke and the late Inez and Melvin both predeceased. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Service in Trinity Lutheran Church, Thursday, August 3rd, 2000, at 11am. Interment in the Civic Cemetery.
