Gilles Joseph Blier Gilles Blier, 288 Government Rd., died at his home in Kapuskasing, on December 15, 2001. He was 48 years old. He was born on March 27, 1953 in Hearst. He worked for Spruce Falls. He loved to fish. He is predeceased by: his father Donat Blier; sister Antoinette. He is survived by: his wife, Doris; mother Yvette and step-father Alphonse Dion of Kap; two sons Michel and Marco (friend Sophie); three brothers, Maurice of Thunder Bay, Réjean of Opasatika, René of Peterborough; two half-brothers, Jean-Paul of Kap, Normand of Montreal; two half-sisters, Agathe Blier of Ottawa and Lucille Slight of Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec. The funeral services will be held at Notre Dame des Victoires Dec. 21 at 3:00 pm. Rev. Robert Tremblay will be performing the Ash service. Cremation took place at Hillcrest Crematorium, Matheson.
