Donald Lynch Donald Alexander Lynch, 118 Byng, Kapuskasing, died at Ottawa Civic Hospital on Sept. 6, 2001 He was 79 years old. Mr. Lynch was born Aug. 30, 1922 in Toronto. He worked as a security guard in the pulp and paper industry. He was a member of the Golden Age Club and the Royal Canadian Legion and enjoyed playing darts. Mr. Lynch was predeceased by his parents and brother Howard. He is survived by wife Marie-Anne, son Michael of Ottawa, daughter Rachel (Gerald) Besner of Kap, foster children George of Fort Albany and Nancy (Gerry) Arsenault of Deep River and sister Lilian Deschamps of Kap and Rachel Allen of Hamilton. Mr. Lynch had eight grandchildren: Amy, Wendy, Mindy, Samantha, Jeremy, Joshua, Jesse and Naiomi. Rev. Leo Papineau directed the funeral service at St. Patrick Church. Mr. Lynch will be interred at the Kapuskasing cemetery.
