Lawrence Schultz, 28 Marquette Cres., died at Sensenbrenner Hospital, Kapuskasing on July 21, 2001. He was 78 years old. Mr. Schultz was born on July 13, 1923 in Matheson. He worked in the Construction Industry as a Hoisting Engineer. Mr. Schultz was also a member of the Elim Pentecostal Assembly. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, making lawn ornaments and jigsaw puzzles. He is predeceased by: four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by: his wife, Hilda of Kap; one son, Lawrence of Calgary; two daughters, Betty of New Brunswick and Diane Hamel of Timmins; three stepsons, Eric (Arlene) of Fort Nelson, BC, Gerald (Claudette) Murdoch of New Liskeard and Gordon Murdoch of Athabasca, AB; two stepdaughters, Brenda Murdoch of Kap and Lynn Murdoch of Timmins and 22 grandchildren. The funeral services were held at Elim Pentecostal Assembly on Wednesday July 25, at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Wayne Fulton performed the service. Cremation took place at Hillcrest Crematorium, Matheson.
