Victor Sleep, of North Bay, died in North Bay on June 25, 2001. He was 76 years old. Mr. Sleep was born August 2, 1924. Mr. Sleep was a Royal Canadian Air Force pilot during the Second World War, and then went on to the University of Toronto becoming a Registered Professional Forester. He worked at Spruce Falls Power and Paper Company in Kap. He also received his 10 year pin for his work with Literacy. Mr. Sleep spent many hour tending to his flowers and beautiful roses.
