Antoinette Boyer of Ottawa, died on June 15, 2001. She was 81 years old. Mrs. Boyer was born May 6, 1920 in St. Prime, Quebec and moved to the area in 1921. She worked as a housewife. She enjoyed cross country skiing and fishing. Mrs. Boyer was predeceased by many brothers and sisters. She is survived by husband Albert of Rockland; sons Gilbert of Terrace Bay, Claude (Hélène) of Kapuskasing and Denis (Patricia) of North Bay; daughters Solange (Alvin) Lang of Bracebridge, Georgette (Rémi) Dallaire of Orillia, Louise (Lionel) Guindon of Orleans, Lucie (Luc) Filion and Pauline Boyer, both of Ottawa. Also surviving are sisters Blanche Violet of Montreal, Germaine Veilleux of Ottawa and Solange Plouffe of Rockland. Mrs. Boyer had 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Rev. Jean-Paul Decarie will direct the funeral service at Immaculate Conception Church at 2 p.m. on July 5. Mrs. Boyer will be interred at the Kapuskasing cemetery.
