Mariette Larouche (Vandal)- April 18, 2001 We regret to announce the death of Mariette Larouche on April 18 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 80. She is survived by twelve children; Roger (Joyce) of Thunder Bay, Jean-Claude of Moonbeam, Jean-Baptiste of Winnipeg, Normand (Dawn) of Oliver, B.C., Fleurette of Oka, Paulette Filion (Albert) of Moonbeam, Yvon (Louise) of Medicine Hat, Gerald (Maggie) of Winnipeg, Estelle Lapointe (Paulo) of Kelowna, Daniel (Carole) of Calgary, Denis of Kapuskasing and Joceline Matson (Barry) of Thunder Bay, three sisters; Yvonne Leclair and Gabrielle Foucault of Kapuskasing and Albertine Essiembre of Ottawa, one brother; Rene Vandal of Kapuskasing, three sisters in law; Eliane Heroux of Val d'Or, Rose Vandal and Cecile Vandal all of Kapuskasing, one brother in law; Louis-Henri Larouche of Montreal as well as 29 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband; Mederic, one son; Luc, three brothers; Jean-Guy, Emile and Jean-Paul, two sisters; Rose and Claire as well as one daughter in law; Nicole Larouche. The Funeral Mass was held on Saturday April 21 at 3:00 p.m. at the Nativite de Marie Parish in Moonbeam with Father Robert Tremblay officiating. Interment followed at the Moonbeam Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
