Peacefully at Lion's Gate Hospital North Vancouver our dearly loved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother passed away at age 98 after a short illness. Born in England June 21, 1903 one of eight children of Anne Isabella and David Stuart, she was predeceased by her loving husband Kenneth, son Ronald and all of her sisters and brothers. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Eleanor Parmelee and son William (Bill) Crossley, beloved grandchildren Geoffrey (Carol) Parmelee, Margot (Glen) Butler, Gail (Sam) Lenarduzzi, Sandra Parmelee, Nancy (Brett) Bandy, Lynda (Colin) Brown, Daniel (Corrine) Crossley. Great-Grandchildren Maya Bandy, Ryan Parmelee and Austin Crossley. Mollie emigrated with her family from England as a child and lived most of her life in Ottawa where she was a devoted member of St. John's Anglican Church, a choir member for 40 years and an untiring worker for her church. Sister-in-law Betty Stuart, many nieces and nephews and many friends fondly remember her. All who knew "Nana" loved her, she will be sadly missed and always in our hearts. Funeral services will be held at St. Martin's Anglican Church, 195 E. Windsor Road, North Vancouver on Tuesday, August 28th, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in St. John's Anglican Church Ottawa, Ontario at a later date with interment at Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Ottawa Citizen, August 25, 2001
