(Retired School Teacher) Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior on Tuesday afternoon, January 2nd, 2001. Flora Penelope Keyes (Nee MacDonald) of Arnprior at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late William Arthur Keyes. Dear daughter of the late John R. MacDonald and his wife the late Ellen Toner; formerly of Sand Point. Dearly loved mother of Arthur Keyes and his wife Sylvia of Toronto and John Keyes and his wife Elizabeth of Newmarket. Caring sister of Miss Patsy MacDonald of The Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior. Predeceased by her only brother, Toner MacDonald and 2 sisters, Mrs. Vita Andrews and Miss Claire MacDonald. Cherished grandmother of Anne Marie Munn, Steven Keyes (Karen), Christine Keyes and Gregory Keyes and great-grandmother of Haylee and Kelsee Keyes. Fondly remembered by her niece, Mary Diamond and nephews, Ronald and Philip Andrews as well as several other great-nieces and nephews. Flora taught for a number of years at St. Peter's in Sarnia before retiring in 1971. Friends may call at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Braeside on Friday morning, January 5th, 2001 at 11 o'clock. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, Sarnia on Saturday at 1 p.m. In remembrance donations to the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital would be most appreciated by the family.
