At the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Cornwall on Tuesday, January 2, 2000. Stephen Menzies Preston of North Lancaster, age sixty-four years. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Anderson). Dear father of Sharon McRae (Donald) of North Lancaster, Ian (Jen) of Alexandria, Lori Carlisle (Craig) of North Lancaster and Deborah Elson (Don) of North Gower. Also survived by one brother Ian of Sherbrooke and one sister, Ellen of Cambridge. He will be missed by his seven grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Munro & Morris Funeral Home, 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, Ontario from 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 4. The Funeral Service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Dalhousie Mills on Saturday, January 6, 2001 at 2 p.m. Interment St. Andrew's United Church Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew's United Church, Dalhousie Mills or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
